Baldoyle Special National School in a winner at the National Cara Inclusion Awards 2018, education category.
They beat off stiff national competition from competitors CBS Roscommon and Edmund Rice Centre and Holy Family School Waterford.
This is a great credit to Principal Ann Higgins and her committed team. They go above and beyond to provide a nourishing educating environment for the children in the school . This National recognition is very well deserved.
St. Michael's House Leisure Center won this award in the Disability category in 2017 and was shortlisted in the Leisure category in 2018.
The Awarding body, CARA , is a national organisation providing a collaborative platform to enhance sport and physical activity opportunities for people with disabilities.
The CARA awards are aimed at highlighting the outstanding work of people and organisations all over Ireland, who are enhancing participation opportunities for people with disabilities in sport and physical activity.
