St. Michael's House were delighted to welcome Darragh O'Brien from Fianna Fail this morning in HQ.
Darragh met with our CEO Liz Reynolds to discuss the disability funding crisis in Ireland. He confirmed his FF Party Manifesto on areas that of concern to St. Michael's House .
These would include :
address the funding deficit and provide €20m annually in additional funding
boost funding for Housing Adaptation grants by €20m
€10million of increased funding year on year to enhance respite services
Place a Minister of State for Disabilty within the Department of An Taoiseach to take the lead on disability.
