St Michael’s House are celebrating National Volunteering Week this week.
Led by SMH Project Co-Ordinator, Rhoda Judge, our wonderful volunteers offered their time and skills to transform the Glens residential outdoor areas into welcoming and accessible spaces for all the residents. After a long winter, volunteers cleared gardens, painted fences, planted flowers and cleared pathways creating welcoming and accessible areas for residents to welcome their friends and families over the summer months.
This National Volunteering Week, St Michael’s House are celebrating the power of volunteering to enrich communities, create opportunities for meaningful connections and gain valuable insight of disability awareness.
Thank you to Rhoda Judge (Project Co-Ordinator) for leading and supporting our volunteers this week and to SMH Technical Services Department and Health & Safety for their invaluable support to make each day a huge success.
