Congratulations to Eamonn, who has reached his one-year mark as a groundskeeper in St. Michael’s House main centre in Ballymun this September, which he started under the WorkAbility project.
Eamonn has worked collaboratively with the Workability Project, Ballymun Maintenance team, Work Options & Horizons community support, to achieve his goals of employment and independent living. We wish him the best of luck for his next steps in his role and career, as he focuses on developing his expertise further, and say a huge thank you to him for all his fantastic work here in St. Michael’s House.
St Michael's House WorkAbility programme is co-funded by the Government of Ireland, through the Department of Social Protection and the European Union. The project is running from 2024-2028 and will support individuals over the age of 16 years old to recieve training and gain meaningful employment in the community. It is also focusing on delivering disability awareness training to employers and their staff who engage with our WorkAbility Team. Find out more at: https://www.smh.ie/services/supported-employment/.
