St. Michael’s House is delighted to congratulate Vivian, Dorothy and Nicole, who are currently undertaking the Swim Ireland Level 1 Assistant Swim Teacher Course.

As part of their training, Vivian, Dorothy and Nicole recently attended the National Aquatic Centre to complete their teaching practice, an important milestone on their journey towards qualification. The group is expected to complete the course later this summer and is looking forward to exploring employment opportunities where they can use their newly developed skills and experience.

The programme provides participants with the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification while developing confidence, communication skills and practical experience in a supportive environment. It also demonstrates the importance of creating meaningful pathways to training, employment and community participation for people with disabilities.

This achievement reflects the dedication and commitment shown by Vivian, Dorothy and Nicole as they work towards their personal and employment goals.

St. Michael’s House would like to thank the Leisure & Community Sports Team for their ongoing support and commitment to creating inclusive opportunities, as well as the staff who have encouraged and supported the candidates throughout their training journey.

We are incredibly proud of Vivian, Dorothy and Nicole and wish them every success as they complete their qualification and take the next steps towards future employment opportunities.

Congratulations to all three on this fantastic achievement.
