St. Michael’s House would like to wish all of our Special Olympians the very best of luck as they take part in the Ireland Summer Games this weekend.

We are incredibly proud of our athletes and the dedication, commitment and determination they have shown in preparing for this fantastic event. The Games provide a wonderful opportunity for athletes to showcase their skills, celebrate achievement and represent themselves, their teams, St. Michael’s House, their region and their country.

Among our athletes taking part are Sarah, who will compete in the 100m running event and shot put, and Damien, who is part of our award-winning Bowling Team. We are looking forward to supporting them and cheering them on throughout the weekend.

Special Olympics is about much more than competition. It provides opportunities for people of all abilities to build confidence, develop skills, create friendships and experience the pride of being part of a team.

A sincere thank you goes to all the staff, families, supporters, trainers, coaches, drivers, volunteers and everyone who has worked behind the scenes to support our athletes. Your encouragement, commitment and dedication help make these opportunities possible.

Everyone at St. Michael’s House wishes all participants the very best of luck. We hope you enjoy every moment, celebrate your achievements and make lasting memories.

Go Team SMH!
