St. Michael’s House Leisure Centre Team Named Finalists in Active Disability Service Awards 2026

St. Michael’s House is delighted to announce that the Leisure Centre Team have been shortlisted as finalists in the Active Disability Service Awards 2026 in the Best Community Engagement Initiative category.

This recognition celebrates the team’s work through the Summer Active Programme and Aquathon, which create opportunities for people supported by St. Michael’s House to stay active, build connections and participate in inclusive community activities.

The programmes encourage health, wellbeing, confidence and participation, supporting people to try new activities and enjoy being active in a welcoming environment.

This achievement reflects the commitment, creativity and dedication of the Leisure Centre Team in developing meaningful opportunities that support people to live active and connected lives.

St. Michael’s House is proud to be shortlisted alongside many other organisations delivering excellent work across disability and healthcare services. Being recognised among such inspiring initiatives is a wonderful achievement.
