At St. Michael’s House, we’re committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in line with national policy.
To date, 18 of our residential properties have undergone deep retrofits, including the installation of air-to-water heat pumps to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.
In March, one of these homes took a further step forward with the installation of solar PV panels by Eco Revival Renewables. Completed over two days, this upgrade means the building now meets NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) standards.
We’re proud to share that this is the first NZEB building within St. Michael’s House, an exciting milestone for our organisation.
This achievement marks a significant step forward for our Green Team as we continue exploring opportunities to roll out similar upgrades across our remaining properties.
