Our Fast Friends team were delighted to host a ‘Craic n’ Connection’ event last Friday 17 April, which had over 75 people attending across St. Michael’s House services.
Using a format inspired by speed dating, the event created a relaxed and engaging environment that encouraged conversations and genuine connections. It was an opportunity for people, including former schoolmates, to meet up and reconnect after many years, and to develop new friendships and even some budding romances.
St Michael’s House Fast Friends is a highly successful initiative that creates meaningful opportunities for adults with disabilities to socialise, connect with their peers and build lasting relationships. This programme continues to thrive thanks to the dedication and support of our fantastic Fast Friends Committee.
