Fast Friends was delighted to host its much-anticipated Valentine’s Ball last Friday, the 13th February , welcoming a full capacity audience for what proved to be an exceptional evening of celebration, connection and community.
The event delivered a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere, with guests enjoying an energetic night of dancing led by DJ Andy. A professional photo booth experience, provided by Paulo's Photo Booth, ensured that special moments were captured and shared.
The success of the evening reflects the continued growth and impact of Fast Friends as a dedicated social platform for adults with disabilities. The programme is built on meaningful consultation, with each event shaped by the preferences, ideas and aspirations of the adults we support. This collaborative approach ensures our activities remain relevant, engaging and empowering.
The Valentine’s Ball is another milestone in St. Michael’s House ongoing commitment to creating inclusive spaces where individuals can socialise with their peers, build confidence and develop meaningful relationships.
Following the overwhelming success of this sold-out event, planning is already underway for the next Fast Friends gathering. For more details please contact fastfriends@smh.ie or to get an overview of the group, you can watch a video here.
