St. Michael’s House Marks International Volunteer Day
Recognising the Impact of Our Volunteers
St. Michael’s House proudly joins the global celebration of International Volunteers Day, expressing sincere appreciation to the volunteers who generously share their time, skills and energy across our organisation. Their contribution strengthens our commitment to supporting people with disabilities to live fully included lives in their communities.
Every Contribution Matters
The theme of this year’s International Volunteers Day, “Every Contribution Matters” reflects the essential role volunteers play in promoting participation, inclusion and connection across society.
“We recognise the meaningful contribution our volunteers make to St. Michael’s House. By giving their time and building genuine connections, they offer practical, everyday support to the people we work with.”
Rhoda Judge, Volunteer Coordinator, St. Michael’s House

Building Inclusion Through Volunteerism
Volunteerism plays a vital role in strengthening communities, fostering inclusion and promoting awareness of the diversity and strengths of people with disabilities. The dedication of our volunteers enhances everyday life for the children and adults we support and enriches our St. Michael’s House community.
Celebrating Our Volunteers
On this International Volunteers Day, St. Michael’s House celebrates all of our volunteers for their exceptional contributions, not only today, but every day across the organisation. We extend our deepest thanks for their continued commitment and meaningful involvement.
