The Older Adults Social Group recently came together for a Music Bingo Coffee Morning, enjoying a morning filled with music, laughter and connection.
The group is dedicated to creating opportunities for older adults in our services to connect, relax and socialise with their peers. Activities are planned by the committee in line with suggestions from the adults themselves, ensuring each gathering is fun, engaging and tailored to participants’ interests.
These activities reflect our commitment to building a rights-based service by respecting and promoting the voices and choices of the adults we support. They also demonstrate active participation of service users, ensuring that adults are central to planning and shaping their social experiences.
Through events like this, we continue to foster social wellbeing, inclusion and a sense of community for older adults across our services.
