As part of the @DublinCanvas initiative, which transforms everyday objects into vibrant public art, adults and staff from Moyle Road Day Service designed and painted a stunning artwork on an electricity box in their local community.
The finished piece, located beside Glasnevin Cemetery, incorporates flowers and Celtic symbolism. This design not only reflects the history of the cemetery and the surrounding area, but also symbolises belonging, friendship, and connection which are values deeply important to the Moyle Road Day Services community.
A special thank you goes to Deirdre Gavigan, art tutor from Barry Road CEDTB, Finglas, who supported the project and continues to facilitate the Moyle Road art group.
Congratulations to everyone involved for their creativity, teamwork, and contribution to making the community brighter and more welcoming.
