St Michael's House talented footballers had an exciting day on the pitch yesterday as they took part in a friendly football blitz, competing against teams from other organisations. The event was a fantastic opportunity for players to showcase their skills, enjoy some healthy competition, and build team spirit.
St. Michael’s House proudly entered three teams into the tournament, and each one performed brilliantly. The players showed great determination, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm throughout the day. Their teamwork and energy were truly inspiring and reflected the inclusive spirit of the event.
This blitz served as excellent preparation for our upcoming football trip to Belfast in June, where our teams will once again represent St. Michael’s House on a bigger stage. Excitement is already building for this much-anticipated trip!
We would like to extend a big thank you to the Leisure Centre team, organisers, volunteers, coaches, and supporters who made the day a success — and, most importantly, congratulations to all the players for their fantastic effort and achievement!
