Group 1

We at St. Michael’s House are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Activity Hub Website. This momentous occasion took place on Thursday,15th June at 10.30am at the St. Michael's House Leisure Centre and Swimming Pool. Minister Anne Rabbitte, TD was in attendance, helping us to go live with the site.

At St. Michael's House, we believe in empowering individuals with disabilities, and the Activity Hub Website embodies our unwavering commitment to that cause. This online platform will serve as an accessible segment of our website, dedicated to service users. Through the Hub, they will have the opportunity to access relevant information, fostering inclusivity, and ensuring that they have the resources they need to thrive.

The Activity Hub serves as a centralized platform, fostering a sense of community and encouraging collaboration among members. Here, individuals can connect with others, share valuable information and resources, and actively engage in a diverse range of activities and events. It's not just a website; it's a digital space where individuals can find support, forge new connections, and participate in meaningful experiences.

The launch event presented an opportunity for us to showcase the power of this innovative tool. Attendees had the chance to explore the features of the Activity Hub website, interact with our service users, and gain insight into the exciting events and programs we have planned. Speaking on the launch Minister Rabbitte said: “St. Michael’s House has given choice back to individuals and their families- you can choose. You can participate. This will keep you connected with each other”

During the launch, we had the opportunity to showcase the various features of the website, demonstrating how it will help us achieve our mission of making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve. We shared success stories, engaged in conversations with service users, and highlighted the transformative impact of this initiative. It was a great opportunity to highlight the profound effect the Activity Hub can have on enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

We extend our gratitude to all our service users who volunteered their time towards making the Hub what it is today, and to the members of the community who have played a crucial role in bringing this project to fruition. Together, we are paving the way for a future where everyone can thrive, regardless of ability.
