Meet Ciara!
Ciara works in Sherlock’s Shop as part of the St Michael's House Supported Employment Project. Ciara works alongside her manager Lily and her duties include serving customers, working the Lotto machine and making sure all the shelves are stocked.
Ciara absolutely loves her job and the Supported Employment Team cannot thank Lily enough for supporting Ciara and becoming an inclusive workforce within the community.
Lily loves working with Ciara and said;
“It is an absolute pleasure to have Ciara on board every Friday. Her confidence has grown so much since she started working here. Ciara has lovely manners and all our customers look forward to seeing her each week.
It's great to have her as part of our team at Sherlock’s. All the staff have been amazing supporting Ciara each week”
The Supported Employment Project is a Pobal funded scheme that will initially run from 2022-2023 and will support young adults attending SMH Hub services to Prepare, Train and Gain meaningful employment in the community.
