Congratulations to Laurence Downes who was recently awarded 'Neighbour of the Year' by his wonderful neighbours in Donaghmede.
Laurence moved to The Beaches at the end of September 2022 and has become an integral part of his new neighbourhood. He loves to sweep up the autumn leaves and rubbish in front of his house and greets everyone with a smile and hello! His new neighbours are delighted to welcome him to the neighbourhood and recently awarded him 'Neighbour of the Year' for all his hard work.
Director of Adult Services (SA2), Elaine Teague, recently met up with Laurence, his housemates and staff to celebrate this wonderful achievement with tea and cake.
