On 30th June, service users attending St. Michael's House Ailesbury Respite on Dublin's southside, completed their My Mini Marathon challenge.
Each participant chose their own distance and completed their 2021 My Mini Marathon in style. Participants included; Patrick O'C., Tara L., and Michael H.
A big shout-out also goes out to Mary T aged 79 and Betty R aged 76 who strode through the finish line!
The event took place in Dublin's Marley Park in wonderful sunshine with lots of happy faces at the end of their challenge. Click here to view a gallery of this event.
The ladies and gentlemen took place to raise funds for a new wheelchair accessible bus for Ailesbury. A new bus would be a wonderful addition to the respite service opening up a wide new range of activities and outings that would be accessible for all who use the service.
