Goatstown Services is based on Dublin's southside and provides a day service to over 30 adults.
With amazing support from Dundrum Town Centre, who have hosted many events in aid of our services, Goatstown Services have transformed their outside area into a fully accessible garden space and have created an internal technology hub to include devices, desks and educational equipment for students. This has been very much welcomed by the Unit, particularly in this current Covid climate, where adults can learn, communicate, and socialise in a safe, socially distanced manner.
Deirdre Murray, Person In Charge of Goatstown Services said;
“This equipment couldn't have come at a better time. It is getting a lot of use as our tutors are zooming in to do activities and the guys have learnt how to do activities themselves on the tablets. Thank you Dundrum Town Centre for all your support in creating this space.”
