International Day of Persons with Disabilities #IDPwD. Thursday December 3rd 2020 .
2020 IDPWD THEME: "NOT ALL DISABILITIES ARE VISIBLE"
The world lights up PURPLE on this day to show support . There is a large online International campaign, advocates go purple. St. Michael's Houes normally host Purple Balloons at receptions , launch a significant research or project and engage in service users activities on this day to celebrate.
However, this year is unique. Covid-19 has made it so we are apart and united . Our service users, families and staff teams still go Purple. Our staff teams and service users dressed up Purple on zoom calls, blew up purple balloons, blew out purple candles. 
St.Michael's House are service providers and advocates of people with disabilities.
