The HSE have updated the Guidance Document for Visiting Residential Facilities to reflect the Christmas period.
These guidelines will become effective next week (w/c 7th December 2020).
The HSE are holding a webinar on Friday 4th December to discuss and explain the guidelines and this will be attended by St. Michael's House staff .
The St. Michael's House Steering Group will meet on Tuesday to decide how best we implement the Guidelines.
We are very aware that this is a special time for service users and their families and that people have been through a very difficult nine months .
We will aim to support visits in a safe and respectful manner and we aim to issue our response by the middle of next week.
