St. Michael's House #Covid-19 update - October 15th

St. Michael' House are working with the HSE and Public Health Services during this Covid-19 Pandemic.

St.Michael's House:

  • actively engaged with Local and National Minister's, TD's , Senators and Government Officials to advocate on behalf for adequate funding and supports for the people who use our services. We are awaiting distribution and allocation of Budget 2021
  • actively engaged with National Federation of Voluntary Bodies for Budget 2021 submissions
  • reintroduction of NO visitors permitted to St.Michael's House Residential Units
  • staff teams have produced a new video on Personal Protective Equipment, Donning & Doffing the Coverall/Hazmat Suit.
  • issued new E-learning courses for staff on Covid-19 safety measures and procedues
  • issued all staff with access to Flu Vaccine information
  • have issued a mandatory Mask wearing process in all SMH buildings at all times for all staff
  • Speech and Language Department have produced an Easy to Read Guide on "Safe Visiting" within St. Michael's House
  • issuing October letters to Families  receiving services on  any service updates. Informing Families that SMH are being guided by the HSE and NPHET for  the safest service delivery in the context Living with Covid-19
  • have issued September FAQ's for Families and October FAQ's for Families
  • celebrated Mental Health Day on our Activity Hub with 38 service users live online
  • Home Teachers have published a new and exciting videos for all our early learners.
