HSE Corporate Plan – They want to hear from you

The HSE are developing a new Corporate Plan to improve Ireland’s health services. As part of this, they are asking you, their staff, to share your views on the future direction of the organisation. The easiest way to tell them your thoughts and views is to take our short survey available on HSE.ie/CorporatePlan. It will take 10 minutes to complete.

One of the main priorities for the HSE Board in 2020 is to set out the HSE’s direction for the next five years by developing and publishing our Corporate Plan. This will set us up for the delivery of Sláintecare. As you know, our health service faces complex challenges that have been building over many years. There is collective agreement that Sláintecare provides the roadmap to solve these challenges, it sets out the focus for the future.

The Board and CEO have committed to broad consultation and engagement to help them develop the Corporate Plan and they have been meeting with many different stakeholders to capture their views. They will also be hearing from the public and getting their feedback. The consultation process will build on what we already know.  They have examined past surveys completed by staff, service users and citizens and completed reviews of Irish and international health policy and health system policy to make sure that the Corporate Plan is evidence-based. They also want to get your views.

It’s important your voice is heard. Please take the survey and give your feedback.  Your voice matters and every single member of staff is part of the solution to building a better health and social care service.

The survey will close on February 17 2020.
