St Michael’s House Older Friends Social Group (for adults aged 50+) recently came together for a very enjoyable Spring Sing-Along event. The gathering featured music, singing, and dancing, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere where everyone was encouraged to participate in a way that suited them.
A special moment during the event was the celebration of Claudina’s 60th birthday, marked with a shared rendition of “Happy Birthday".
We extend our sincere thanks to DJ Andrew for his positive contribution in supporting a lively and engaging environment throughout the event, and to O’Toole’s GAA for their generous provision of the venue and refreshments, which helped ensure a comfortable and welcoming setting.
The Older Friends Social Group is based on a person-centred approach, supporting each member to take part in activities that reflect their own interests, preferences, and choices. The group also promotes inclusion and connection, recognising the importance of social participation and meaningful engagement for each individual.
We would like to thank all service users who attended and contributed to the success of the day.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to our next event, Afternoon Tea on 25th May.
