Participants in the St. Michael's House WorkAbility programme recently took part in a practical 10-week Work Skills through Drama workshop aimed at developing the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the workplace.

Using role-play and real-life workplace scenarios, participants explored how to respond to challenging situations, including dealing with difficult customers, communicating effectively with colleagues and developing positive working relationships. The workshop also focused on teamwork, problem-solving and building self-confidence in a supportive and interactive environment.

The workshop reflects the WorkAbility programme's commitment to supporting people with disabilities to develop the skills, experience and confidence needed to pursue employment opportunities and participate fully in working life. By practising everyday workplace situations, participants can strengthen their ability to make informed choices, advocate for themselves and navigate workplace relationships with confidence.
