European Week of Sport is a great opportunity to celebrate the many ways people can be active and the benefits that movement can have for our physical and mental health.
At St. Michael’s House, our Health & Leisure Team supports people across the organisation to find ways to #BeActive Your Way.
Meet the team:
- Sarah – Activity Hub, Sport & Leisure Centre Manager
- Leanne – Community, Sport & Activities Manager
- John – Leisure Centre Operations Manager
- Dylan – Activity Hub Coordinator
- Alana – Leisure Attendant

Together, the team manages and supports a wide range of health, sport and leisure programmes across St. Michael’s House and in the community.
From sport, fitness and swimming to group and individual exercise programmes, classes, online activities and summer programmes, there are lots of ways to get involved.
Our fully accessible swimming pool and leisure centre and Activity Hub also provide spaces for people to be active, try something new, build confidence and enjoy being part of a group.
Big Goals. Small Steps.
Being active doesn't have to mean setting a big goal. Small steps can make a difference. A walk, a swim, joining an exercise class or finding an activity you enjoy can all help support physical and mental health.
This European Week of Sport, we're encouraging everyone to #BeActive Your Way and find the type of movement that works for you.
Big Goals. Small Steps. Let's get moving!
