More than 300 people came together at St. Michael's House Ballymun HQ on Saturday 25th July to celebrate the inaugural Fast Friends Music Festival.

The festival featured a fantastic line-up of performers including Eddie Sherlock, Dublin Ukelele Collective, Pump Up The Jam, Eala and the Fables, and DJ Andrew Fraser, who entertained the crowd throughout the day and created a lively festival atmosphere.

The event was made possible through the support of many individuals and organisations. St. Michael's House would like to thank Dublin City Council and #TeamSMH for their generous support in providing tents and gazebos, helping to create a welcoming and enjoyable outdoor venue.

A sincere thank you also goes to Bubbles & Ices and Big Dog Burger, whose refreshments were enjoyed by attendees throughout the afternoon.

We are also grateful to our dedicated St. Michael's House volunteers, Ray, Samantha, Jeanette, Charlotte, Freya and Philip, and to our wonderful Robert from Maintenance whose enthusiasm and commitment helped ensure the smooth running of the event.

Special recognition must be given to the Fast Friends Committee, who have been planning the festival since September 2025. Through months of preparation, collaboration and commitment, they transformed an idea into a vibrant event that brought people together to celebrate.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day such a memorable occasion. The energy and enthusiasm on display reflected the spirit of Fast Friends and St. Michael's House.

We hope this is the first of many Fast Friends Music Festivals and look forward to welcoming everyone again in the future.
