Leinster Rugby Announce St Michael’s House as Charity Partner

St Michael’s House Nominated by Aircoach   

Dublin, Ireland – 14 November, 2023 – St. Michael’s House, a leading disability service committed to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities, is thrilled to announce its partnership with Leinster Rugby as the charity partner for the months of November and December 2023. St Michael’s House have been nominated by one of their Charity Partners, Aircoach.

St. Michael’s House is dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to live life to the fullest, promoting inclusivity, and providing vital services and support to those in need. St. Michael’s House is committed to ensuring that it is an organisation that delivers services to people with disabilities based on rights. The Mission of St. Michael’s House is to work with Service Users to understand their needs and wishes and help them achieve their goals- “Your Life, Your Rights, Your Choices”.  

St. Michael’s House supports include:

  • Residential supports and Independent living
  • Clinical supports
  • Day supports
  • Schools
  • Respite supports and
  • Vocational training services.

St. Michael’s House has made significant strides in improving the lives of individuals with disabilities throughout the service. This partnership comes at an exciting time for St. Michael’s House, as they will be launching their Foundation in February 2024. The new Foundation will strengthen St. Michael’s House’s fundraising efforts, tapping into the organisation’s existing networks and expertise, while amplifying its charitable benefits.

Leinster Rugby, a powerhouse in the world of rugby, has a strong tradition of giving back to the community and supporting charitable causes. The partnership with St. Michael’s House aligns perfectly with Leinster Rugby's commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of people throughout the region.

Eamon de Búrca, Commercial & Partnerships Manager with Leinster Rugby said, “it’s been hugely rewarding working with our commercial partners and our players and supporters to help bring our charity programme alive and this is another great example of this.

“It will be great to visit St Michael’s House later this week with Leo Cullen and as well as that to welcome St Michael’s House and the Aircoach team to the Stade Francais game in Aviva Stadium in January.”
