Meet Robyn. Robyn works in Wetherspoons as part of the SMH Supported Employment Programme and has become a key member of their staff team.
I love my job so, so much. It means the world to me. I work 4-hour shifts, 3 days a week. I must work very hard at my job. I clean the bar, tables, floor areas and toilets. I also serve customers their food and drinks, set and clear tables.
My manager, colleagues, and customers are all lovely, and everyone is so nice. I am really respected and an equal member of the Wetherspoons team.
My job has given me the opportunity to save my money and do lots of things. I was able to buy new clothes, a new phone, get my hair done, and go on weekends away with my best friend.
