Liz Reynolds, CEO, and the management team of St Michael's House would like to thank all the families, carers and stakeholders who attended the Assisted Decision Making (ADM) Information Meeting this moring, Monday 30 January 2023.
We would also like thank Ms. Áine Flynn, Director of the Decision Support Service who provided familes and carers with important information on the Assisted Decision Making Act – which is due to commence in early 2023 – and on the role of the Decision Support Service.
The Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act (2015) is about supporting decision-making and maximising a person’s capacity to make decisions. This Act applies to everyone and is relevant to all health and social care services.
