Statement regarding Hazelwood Centre.
St. Michael’s House has taken the findings of this report, which arose from an inspection conducted in November 2018 in Hazelwood Centre seriously. Its response to the inspection has been treated as a priority. It immediately implemented an improvement plan for the centre and non-compliances noted in the report have been actioned.
Subsequently, there was an unannounced HIQA inspection in April 2019 and following that in July 2019, St. Michael's House was issued with a notice of proposal to register the house with HIQA.
St. Michael’s House continues to work closely with HIQA and the HSE.
