A Christmas message 2018 from CEO, Anna Shakespeare
As the Festive Christmas Season is with us I would like to take this opportunity to extend my sincere thanks to each one of our valued employees, volunteers and benefactors. The contribution each of you make to the organisation, big and small, makes it possible for us to make a difference to the men, women and children and families we support.
Throughout 2018 St. Michael’s House has continued as it has always done to try to respond to the needs of the individuals we serve. 2018 was a really challenging year with unprecedented demand for new services and supports and am really pleased we were able to respond with some new initiatives and service developments. We continue to work with our funders to increase our capacity to respond to unmet need.
Christmas is always a time for family and friends so it is timely for us to remember friends and family who have died in 2018 and wish their loved ones comfort during the holiday season.
Finally on behalf of all the team here in St. Michael’s House I would like to wish you all a very happy and restful Christmas as we look forward with renewed energy to 2019 and the opportunities it will present.
