Ursula Bishop attends Templeogue day services and was awarded Templeogue Person of the Year by the Templeogue Tidy Towns Committee.
Ursula secured €30,000.00 for community improvements with South Dublin City Council. Ursula regularly encounters obstacles and hazards when travelling to the local shops, church and café as a wheelchair user. Ursula appealed to the local council and won this large investment to support her community.
Ursula received a beautiful Dublin Crystal Glass Award with her name engraved following her research project , 'Make The Journey Easy' , on wheelchair access in the Templeogue area.
She has also been nominated for the Volunteer of the Year Award with South Dublin County Council at a forthcoming awards ceremony in the Red Cow Hotel this coming 1st December!!
