In February 2019 interviews took place to recruit Network Managers. St. Michael’s House will employ four Network Managers to oversee the four Networks where they are a lead agency.
The employment process is currently on hold as the HSE had entered into a mediation process with Trade Union FORSA.
By agreement of both parties this process has now been escalated to the Labour Court with an expected hearing date in July.
In the meantime, St. Michael’s House continues to work closely with the HSE and other voluntary bodies in preparation for reconfiguration.

Re: Children’s Disability Network Managers - Update
Date: 20th May 2019
Over the past number of months, the HSE and our Section 38 and Section 39 partners have been engaged in a conciliation process with Fórsa under the auspices of the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC). It was hoped that this conciliation process would resolve the outstanding issues raised by Fórsa and would allow the appointment of Children’s Disability Network Managers (CDNM).
As we have been unable to reach an agreement through the WRC process it has been agreed that the issues related to the appointment of CDNMs should be referred to the Labour Court. We have now received confirmation of this referral and are awaiting a date for the hearing. We are hopeful of being allocated a date in early July.
Thank you all for your continued patience and co-operation with this process.
