The National papers have covered an article on Clew Bay in relation to a HIQA inspection in November 2018 outlining required improvements. St. Michael's House teams have worked together to achieve these proposals.
A follow up inspection in Clew Bay , March 2019 report highlight -
'Good evidence that the person in charge and the staff team in Clew Bay have identified and addressed the majority of areas for improvement and St. Michaels House are working well in achieving the agreed milestones in Service Improvement and Compliance Plan'.
St.Michael's House had 48 registration renewal HIQA inspections plus unannounced inspections in 2018 of which inspections were 83% compliant or substantial compliant with HIQA regulations.
