    On Monday 21st of May her Majesty Queen Masenate Mohato Seeiso of Lesotho visited St. Michael’s House. The visit was part of the King and Queen’s State Visit to Ireland. The Queen has a special interst in the provision of community based services for people with a disability.

    On arrival, the Queen was greeted by Eamonn Fitzgerald Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Patricia Doherty CEO, Tim Chadwick Service Manager and the Principal of Ballymun SNS Lisa White

    The Queen met with pupils and staff from Ballymun SNS, who performed their assembly prayer for her and presented her with a small token to remember her visit.. Following this she met with parents and children from Early Services and a small group of adults who are involved in the Special Olympics.

    Patricia Doherty made a formal presentation to the Queen on St. Michael’s House services.

     The Queen expressed her gratitude to everyone for making her visit so enjoyable and informative.
