Tech Group Europe chooses St. Michael's House as Charity Partner for 2011

Over 90 TechGroup Europe staff hopped on their bikes for Intellectual Disability on Friday 20th May 2011. 

As part of its 2011 West Without Borders global charitable campaign, West's Tech Group Europe's Dublin-based operations has chosen St. Michael's House, one of Ireland's largest providers of community-based services for children and adults with an intellectual disability as their charity partner for 2011.

As part of their activity to raise funds for St. Michael's House, the staff at Tech Group Europe collectively cycled the equivalent of the distance from Malin Head to Mizen Head (500km) on stationary bikes at the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre on Friday 20th May 2011.

Celebrity guests supported and took part on the day including: Dragons Den's Bobby Kerr, Irish Hunt Jockey Barry Geraghty and Dublin Football legend, Ciaran Whelan.

Tech Group have raised funds towards the purchasing of a new wheelchair accessible bus for our Early Services users.
