"I never thought David would go to a playgroup, but he loves meeting his pals at the Parent and Toddler Group in Ballymun. He has made huge progress. The service he receives is tailored to his individual needs and helps him achieve things I never thought possible."
For many families, the first point of contact with St. Michael's House is Children's Services.
The overall aim is to support children to reach their developmental milestones within the family setting and to provide information and guidance to parents. Each family is assigned a Key Worker who advocates on their behalf and works with them to develop an Individual Plan that outlines their needs and goals and the supports required. This may include Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work support, educational options, respite as well as social and recreational supports.
