Charge Up for Charity!!!

St Michael’s House, one of Ireland’s largest providers of community based services for children and adults with Intellectual Disability, have teamed up with Vodafone and Global Taxi’s to provide customers with mobile charging devices for over 600 Global Taxi’s in Dublin. The customers have the option to charge their phone on their journey for a nominal donation to St Michael’s House services. Over five of the most popular phones can be charged on the journey. Chose a Global Taxi and never be out of battery while also donating much needed funds to St Michael’s House.

Barbara Wiseman, Head of Fundraising for St Michael’s House said, “St Michael’s House are delighted to team up with Global Taxi’s and Vodafone for the St Michael’s House Taxi Phone Charger Initiative, it’s a clever idea that will be beneficial to all involved.”

Noel Ebbs, Director General from Global Taxi’s said, "Global Taxis are delighted to be involved in the St Michael's House Taxi-Phone-Charger iniative. We've been working very closely with St Michael's House since 2009 but it's really great to take this step and be involved in something that will deliver benefits to busy people on the go and at the same time help to deliver vital funding to St Michael's House. The drivers are very excited about it too. It will take a little effort on their part but the benefits will be far greater than the effort.
