Congratulations to the service users attending Seabreeze Centre in Baldoyle whose art work is being exhibited in Baldoyle Library till Saturday 11th of September. The exhibition includes original paintings by Larry, Brenda, Paula, Paul, Dympna, Katie and Martin all of whom are residents at St. Michael’s House Baldoyle, which was formally known as St. Mary’s Hospital.  

The exhibition was officillay opened by the Deputy Mayor of Fingal Councillor Peter Coyle. At the opening  Councillor Coyle commented on the high quality of the work and felt that the exhibition would attract a significant number of visitors. Painting is just one of a number of activities undertaken by the group who particularly enjoy getting involved in local social and recreational activities. Some of the groups favourite activities are visiting other artist’s exhibitions at the Library and to have lunch in the local coffee shop. The group also spend three days a week  participating in a wide range of activities Baldoyle Community Centre. Seabreeze Coordinator Heather Mulhern thanked all those who made the exhibition possible in particular the centres volunteers and staff and the staff at Baldoyle Library.
